Brisbane Self Publishing

Terms and Conditions

On receipt of your manuscript/project brief, Brisbane Self Publishing Service will provide a quote /contract for your approval before commencement of any work. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date provided.

For all book publishing services provided by Brisbane Self Publishing Service, a 30% deposit is required prior to commencement of work. For comprehensive book publication projects encompassing all three stages of publishing (editing & blurb/author bio copywriting, typesetting & book cover design, proofreading & author publishing services), you will be required to make a progress payment to cover the fee associated with each project stage. Details about fees for each project stage are documented in our written quote proposal.

All rates for professional services include an initial first draft and two rounds of revisions to ensure your document is professionally presented and word perfect for your needs. In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied after this process, you will agree to pay Brisbane Self Publishing Service for all work completed to date. You may then either cancel your contract or continue to commission us to do further revisions at our normal hourly rate.

Please note that proposals are based solely on information presented in your original brief and may change should that information be altered significantly. Brisbane Self Publishing Service will then consult you and provide an updated quote for your approval before any further work is undertaken.

If, on receipt of your completed project you find that there are omissions or discrepancies, they will be rectified without any further charges being incurred.

All accounts are strictly 7 days. Deposits are to be paid before the commencement of any work. Balances owing are due within 7 days of completion of your project.

Brisbane Self Publishing Service endeavours to provide a complete and accurate service for every project; however, we cannot guarantee a 100% error free document. As the author, it is your responsibility to review and proofread all final changes.

Brisbane Self Publishing Service will not be held accountable for any liabilities incurred in relation your content or subject matter, or any losses arising from using our service.
